Police read out a court order at a protest currently being carried
out near the Parliament, issued by the Kaduwela Magistrate pronouncing
that no protests should be held near the Parliament or its surrounding
areas.A protest is currently underway in front of the Parliament organized by a group of UPFA MPs and their supporters against the summons issued on former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to appear before the Bribery Commission.
